HEIGHT X LENGTH AND HORIZONTAL TABLE CLAMPING FACE WILL
BE LENGTH X BREADTH. 
 
PERPENDICULARITY BETWEEN VERTICAL AND TABLE FACE SHALL BE 750 MICRONS AS PER DIN 875 /
GRADE 3. 
 
WORKING FACES WILL HAVE EITHER MILLED FINISH OR
HAND GROUND / HAND SCRAPPED FINISH AS MAY BE REQUIRED
TO ACHIEVE DESIRED ACCURACIES. 
 
VERTICAL WORKING SURFACE TO HAVE HORIZONTAL MILLED T-SLOTS OF NOMINAL SIZE 22H12 EQUI-SPACED AT NOMINAL 125 MM CENTER DISTANCE. 
 
THE HORIZONTAL TABLE FACE SHALL HAVE AS CAST OPENING
SUITABLE TO FACILITATE CLAMPING OF ANGLE PLATE ON TO A
MACHINE TOOL TABLE.
 
NOTE: GRAY IRON CASTINGS BEING OF LARGE SIZE AND BULKY
INVOLVING VAST MACHINED SURFACES, MINOR CASTING
DEFECTS, IF ANY, THAT ARE NOT DETRIMENTAL TO THE
FUNCTIONAL USE OF THE BED PLATES WILL BE RECTIFIED BY US
EMPLOYING INDUSTRY ACCEPTED PRACTICES. SOME OF THE
CASTING DEFECTS LIKE MINISCULE PIN HOLES, POROSITY ETC. IF
ANY, WILL BE LEFT AS THEY COULD BE AND WILL BE ALLOWED
FROM PRACTICAL CONSIDERATIONS.)
